FAQs

  • If I no longer have symptoms does that mean I'm ok?

Many problems can be identified in the blood long before symptoms appear. Using a 52-point blood test we perform an in-depth assessment of your entire system. We identify the problem areas and carefully document major and minor conditions that may lead to serious illness. Additional specialized testing is available when indicated.
  • What will my Action Plan consist of?

Once the assessment is complete, we review with you your personal Vibrant Health Blueprint™ which includes specific recommendations for what foods to avoid, what foods to eat and what vitamin/mineral/herb supplements your body needs. There is no guess-work. It's all based on testing your body's unique bio-chemistry.
  • How will I know if my Action Plan is working?

We re-test within a few months to determine progress and make any necessary adjustments to your nutritional program. As your body responds, our recommendations may change. The important point is that the re-evaluation is based on objective data in the form of your lab work. This system was created for people who want a clear path of how to create health, while being included in their own healing process.
  • How do I get started?

Call our office at (858) 576-6900 to make a phone appointment with Dr. Borseth. She will be able to help you determine if the The Vibrant Health Blueprint™ can provide you the answer you are looking for to get the energy, vitality and vibrant good health you want.  Because she sees chiropractic patients in her office and works with people all over the U.S. by phone, appointments are limited and are filled on a "first come" basis.
  • What makes you different from other nutritionists or health professionals?

We use scientific objective testing in our analysis and recommendations and we see objective results.. We get our great results because we test and we use objective testing methods.
  • How long will it take before I start to see improvement in my health problems?

Understand that we don't have a cure for your problem whether it is a skin rash, MS, Diabetes or Cancer. Our goal is to get you healthier. Progress is the key and there should be some definite, objective improvement within about 2 months if what we are doing and recommend is going to work. Do you have 2 months? If you can give us 2 months and you really work and do what is needed, it is highly unusual that progress/improvement is not seen. Then the goal is to keep you improving on a consistent basis. Sometimes a 2-3% improvement in 2 months could the best that we can hope for but if you continue to improve 2-3% every 2 months for the next 2-3 years, where will you be? Some patients with serious conditions like MS and Lupus have taken 6 years to really get their condition under control and in remission. We make no guarantees that you will have similar results. This is all dependent upon compliance
  • Do you accept Insurance?

We are not a participating provider for Medicare and are not associated with any HMO or PPO groups. All services are paid in full at the time of service.
  • What is the cost of treatment?

The initial consultation with Dr. is Borseth complementary at this time. Dr. Borseth feels that it is important to determine whether you are a good candidate for this comprehensive work. During your consultation, the doctor will determine what testing needs to be performed. Every person is different, so it really depends on your particular health problems. More complex or serious conditions will likely require more extensive testing. Each case is different, if you are very sick, have cancer or are at end-stage then the cost of testing and nutrients could be quite high maybe $2,000.00 or more. In reality, that is a pittance compared to the medical costs and drugs and the fact that you will likely be sicker or dead if you continue with the medical treatments and drugs that are not working but insurance is covering. For the price of a nice TV or a week long vacation, most people can get all of the testing and nutrients to get them headed in the right path.
  • What tests are required?

Every person is different. So it really depends on your particular case.
  • How long does it take to get the test results back?

If you do the testing through our office, it usually takes no more than two weeks to get all of the test results back and your personalized detailed report completed!
  • Do I have to purchase the supplements from your office?

Our job is to make sure that what you are doing is working. The supplements we recommend in our office are the products that we have experience with and have been shown to make the changes in the blood work we would like to see. We strongly encourage you to start with products that we have tested to get results. Of course you can use the supplements of your choosing but make sure you are getting the correct dosage and potency and most importantly, get re-tested to make sure the supplements are working for you.
  • Can I get my blood work done through my other doctor?

You may get your blood work done through another doctor. However, it would be prudent for you to check your pricing thoroughly. In most instances we have found that other offices will not perform all of the tests we recommend. The comprehensive lab panel we use provides a well-rounded guide to comprehensive baseline blood testing that includes complete kidney, liver, thyroid, CBC, and lipid panels. Also, an ESR, CRP, ferritin, hemoglobin A1C, CK, and a vitamin D 25 hydroxy blood test are necessary to get a complete picture of the imbalances occurring within the body.
  • Is my lab testing kept private?

It is important to note that because our office does not participate with insurance companies, any findings will not go on your permanent record. Remember, if you decide to go through your insurance company for reimbursement, the test findings will go on your permanent record and will affect future premiums and ratings.
  • What are your office hours?

Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
  • Do You Take Patients Who Are Out Of State?

Yes! We can set up phone consultations and we have the ability to order the testing you need from anywhere in the United States. We do however, strongly recommended that you have a face to face consultation with the doctor at least once and it is a great reason to visit San Diego, “America’s Finest City”.
  • I know something is wrong, but no one I’ve seen knows what it is. How is your method different?

Our natural health solutions are based on scientific and objective lab testing .The Vibrant Health BlueprintSystem™ provides individual, drug-free recommendations to promote optimum health based on imbalances and dysfunction identified from the test results. These results: • Keep you from playing a guessing game. Recommending supplements based on symptom diagnostics alone is risky. Unless you know specifically which body processes are imbalanced, how can you determine which vitamins are needed to help patients become healthy enough they no longer require prescriptions? • Are accurate, consistent, and science-based. It’s vital that any diagnosis or guidance given to patients be based on provable, documented results. Laboratory tests provide accurate information and are an acceptable diagnostic tool.
  • Is there any way I can get off my medications?

To be clear, I do not put people on medications and I cannot take them off medications. I have successfully helped people bring their lab tests back into balance so that the body no longer requires the medications. The lab tests are done through a nationally recognized lab that is recognized by all types of health practitioners, including medical doctors.
